THE BENEFITS OF CEILING FANS
During the winter months, the ceiling fan is operated in a clockwise fashion. This effectively pushes the warm air from the ceiling, where the warmest air tends to amass, down to the main area of the room. In summer, you can reverse the direction so that the blades run in an anti-clockwise direction and this can reduce the temperature of a room by as much as 8 degrees.
There are numerous designs of ceiling fans and this means that they can be used as a good looking addition to a room as well as a functional item. Choose from a range of different light fittings which are usually included as part of the fan and you can also choose the number of blades you want as well as the material the fan is made from.
